Salem-Troy Baptist Association located in Pike County Alabama is thirty four churches joining together to do what they cannot do alone. Each church is independent and unique. However all the churches have the same ministry, to share the gospel of Christ with all who will receive it and to glorify God. Our association is affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Here you will find information concerning our association and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Our association is a warm and loving one, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Our desire is to serve God by serving our fellow man. Our goal is for everyone to find their place of worship and service in the Kingdom.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Salem-Troy Baptist Association is to:
- Exalt the name of Jesus Christ,
- Expand the Kingdom through missions and evangelism,
- Equip church leaders for ministry,
- Enlist churches in the work of the broader Southern Baptist Convention.
Vision Statement
To one day see all members of all Salem-Troy Baptist Association's churches obeying the Great Commandment and fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
